Recently my friend Vered offered to do a cooking class with a mutual friend and my sister. She taught us how to roast eggplant, combine the freshest vegetables into a salad and make fresh humus. We were able to use fresh olive oil that my sister and I had recently harvest the olives for in Israel. It was fun to share stories of Israel, listen to some Israeli music and just enjoy cooking in a kitchen together. Before my last trip to Israel in October 2016 many people encouraged me to spend a lot of time in the kitchen with my friends. Without even trying that's exactly what happened. Israeli's like food, a lot of it and the best time spent is in the kitchen preparing meals together. Here are the results of our time preparations. Be te'avon!
