Treasures

There is so much distracting us these days. Since I’ve last posted technology has advanced tremendously and we are now working off of algorithms trying to beat the trendiest reel or video on Instagram, blog ok YouTube or provide any other source of noise that this world has to offer.

I realized the other day just how little opportunities we have to read in this world. We are stimulated purely on videos and sound and pictures. Our eyes relate to the brain without challenging the functionality. It reminded me that I need to make an effort to write and read like i used to. Basic functions that we take for granted and know how to accomplish yet we have dumbed ourself down to a child’s storybook of pictures. 

All that rant to say, I went thrifting today and found some treasures. It’s been a while and it did my soul good. Enjoy!
