Bleu Porch Kitchen and Market

Friday I got off early from work and my mom and I had planned to go get a pedicure. On my way home she called and said she wanted to take me to the Bleu Porch The Bleu Porch for lunch. It's her new favorite lunch spot downtown Greer SC. Accurately named the Porch was painted blue and we were having the most amazing weather right before Hurricane Irma. We sat outside on the porch and ordered sweet teas and sandwiches. There is a lot of traffic, basically locals driving by and my mom and I had so much fun catching their eyes and smiling really big. Haha, people's reactions were hysterical and some people looked away embarrassed, some people smiled and waved back, most people looked shocked and then smiled realizing that we were just having fun! It's amazing how much entertainment you can get from smiling! One reason why my mom had wanted to come is because they have a few local artists on consignment inside the shop. Mom and I have been painting rocks for about a week now in response to The Kindness Project  where people paint rocks and leave them for others to find. We've been painting ladybugs and she brought our blue ones to see if they might be interested in selling them at their shop. In talking with the waitress she said there was one hidden on the porch outside and I found a painted pig rock with the hashtag #Greercityrocks .  They are so fun to find and you can either keep them or re-hide them. Pictures are posted below...

Address for The Bleu Porch: 302 N. Main Street Greer SC
